About Jo “Joda” Murray
I first started exploring coding and the world of software development in high school. I took various computer science classes, like web design and Blitz coding. I was also an active member of an after-school club called Game Creators where I worked with coding languages such as Blitz, C#, and C++.
After high school, I joined the workforce and worked in various industries, from hospitality to sales, and even a tattoo shop! I never lost interest in coding or technology though. In 2022, I left my job as an insurance agent and started college for software development. I’m currently pursuing a BAS in DevOps Engineering.
Outside of work, my hobbies include camping, traveling, reading, playing video games, and I’m a bit obsessed with Star Wars. Wondering how I got the name Joda? My friends say I remind them of Yoda: tiny and wise!
